Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’ve always been passionate about scaling businesses that address the unique challenges of our healthcare system and change people’s lives for the better. I’ve spent my career in healthcare, and been fortunate to work as an early growth operator at healthcare startups and corporate strategist at larger tech companies (I had a fun, brief detour outside of healthcare working on Twitter’s celebrity and influencer team). On the personal front, I absolutely love being a mom to my two little girls, being active, and exploring the great outdoors in the San Francisco Bay Area.

What inspires you the most as a part of Lyft Healthcare?

I find our work addressing the social determinants of health and improving health equity to be incredibly inspiring. We know that transportation is a significant barrier to healthcare for nearly six million people every year. Our partnerships with healthcare organizations and forward-thinking policymakers enable us to provide access to reliable healthcare rides for millions of people, especially those in underserved communities. Working at Lyft Healthcare and being able to profoundly impact the health of so many people has truly been one of the highlights of my career.

What’s your favorite part about your job?

The team! It is energizing to wake up every morning and work alongside exceptional people who are all motivated to reimagine the way healthcare organizations get patients around–and have fun while doing it. I’m proud of what we have been able to achieve, and we’re just getting started.

Tell us something most people would be surprised to learn about you?

I was a child hula-hooping champion! I can “hula” up to five hula-hoops for hours and hours on end.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Always strive to work with people who will bring out your best self. And be generous with sharing your knowledge and time.
